Web Work Orders


An optional feature to FamTrac 2000 allows users to create work requests from the Internet.

We create a custom web site for your facility, prompting for your required fields like the page shown below.



These work requests are then downloaded to FamTrac, where the maintenance staff can review, and approve or reject them.



At this point, a work order can automatically be created in FamTrac by clicking the "Create Work Order" button. The FamTrac Add Work Order Screen will be displayed with the applicable information from the work request as shown below.




Then the staff just needs to enter the equipment (MSI) number, and optionally time estimates, etc. before saving and printing the work order. The work request record will then be updated indicating that a work order has been created for this request.

If the staff does not choose to create a work order, the work request record will be updated to indicate the request was reviewed and rejected. The staff may also enter a reason for the rejection.

All the information in the work request file can be queried by the work requestor to check the status of all of his/her submitted work requests.
